Misc Nonsense

Have you ever felt like writing a blog but had no clue as to what to write? Today is one of those days.
I am feeling a little bit better, although, my head still hurts as if it's being beaten with a hammer and my energy level is at an all time low. It's made a lot of progress since the weekend. Lots of Dayquil, Nyquil, Motrin and OJ. I could barely get out of bed yesterday so work was out of the question. I always feel bad when I miss work even if my excuse is legit so today, I went in. Sure, I still don't feel good but I guess it doesn't require much energy to sit in the back office and do billing. NOT!

My brother arrived in NC for his R&R from Iraq. I couldn't be more jealous right now. He gets to spend time with my mom and Kelli. I talked to my dad last night and we sat there feeling like loners that everyone else is having fun while he is stuck in the desert and I at home with the flu. Hopefully I'll get to see them soon and I hope they are having a blast.

I have been wanting so badly to do something fun and energetic. The things I've thought of have been sledding, snowmobiling, or skiing. WHAT!? is probably what you might be thinking to yourself if you know me at all. I went skiing one time when I was 13 and didn't like it at all. I skied on some bunny hills and headed home. I am not a fan of snow. Period. I hate trying to have fun when it's freezing outside and your nose is running but recently I've been craving it! Snowmobiling because I have never been and want to try something new and sledding because I want to feel like a kid again. Being that my birthday is coming up and I'm dreading turning, ssshhh 23, I want to feel like I'm not (about to be 23). I figure if I come up with activities that involve covering myself up with layers of clothing, my crows feet and wrinkles won't be as noticeable.

I hope you feel better soon-having the flu is one of the worst things ever. And don't stress about your age, 23 is young! I'm a quarter of a century old-now that's old!

I like that quote...lol!

I'm really sorry that you have been sick. I'm glad that you are starting to feel a little better though.
