All Shook Up

I made it to work this morning. At 10:15 a.m. What time am I supposed to be in work? 9:30. What was I doing? Getting into a car accident. Yes. My first experience. Thankfully it wasn't my fault but I was definitely all shaken up the whole rest of the day. I was having an awesome morning. I gotten a lot of sleep which hasn't happened in about a week or so. I was feeling so much better and looked nice if I do say so myself. I was on my way to work, singing to my radio I must admit, and in such a good mood. All the sudden, out of nowhere, I see this huge van coming towards the driver side towards the front of the car. I'm thinking, Uh.. this is supposed to happen. Haha. I tried to turn into the shopping center parking lot so he could miss me but he was going so fast he ran right into me. The top of my head hit the ceiling and I just started shaking. It was a county transit van and when we stopped I asked him first if he was ok. He was and when I peeked at the van, I noticed the whole right side of his vendor was tore off, my black paint all over and his headlight hanging by it's wire. After seeing that I avoided looking at my car. Amazingly enough I have a few dents, minor paint damage and a damaged tire. I've been quoted about 2,000 for damages. Luckily, no one was injured. It's been the only thing I have been thinking about all day. Maybe I will treat myself to a shopping spree this weekend. I'm a girl, give me a break.

You didn't know that singing in your car is a federal offense? It was an addendum to the law that banned cell phone use while you're driving :)
