Well, I figured since it's been almost 2 months since I last blogged, I should do an update on the new things going in my life. I started my 2nd job, working at an elementry school rec center. Two of my friends worked there and since one was about to leave, I put in for it to work at night for a little extra cash. I just started last week and I love it. It starts an hour after my first job and I work around 3 hours a day, a few days a week. It's really nice and being able to work with a good friend of mine makes it so much better. I'm keeping busy which is good because both of my parents left a couple of weeks ago. My mom on a vacation to L.A. then to Indiana, and my dad to Kuwait and Iraq. It's been tough to have my dad gone again. It gets lonely without anyone here and when my brother is working but my main concern is for my dad. Him having a job with AAFES makes it less stressful because he is in less danger unless he's traveling. But having my dad across the world in a place where I have had a friend or have had friends and family members of people I know die, it's never a settling feeling. This year I hope goes by faster than what I think.
However, my mother is livin' it up with her best high school friend that I pretty much consider my aunt and family member. She definetly needed this time for herself after her surgery and my dad leaving twice since this year even started. Sometimes I get jealous because she'll call us from the beach or when she's going down to San Deigo. She and Tammy were on Price Is Right so look for them on July 16th!!
Hopefully, I'll keep up on this.. I mean it's not like I have anything better to do.. LOL :) (How can techonolgy make us feel guilty???)
