Where did July go?

Ok so I never wrote in July. I actually WAS that busy! Can you believe it? So things have been crazy. About two weeks ago I was able to fly home to North Carolina and see my dad and brother who just got back from Iraq. Having our family all together again after about a year but so amazing and refreshing. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take any pictures. I got a new camera the day before I left. It was nice to just "hang out". We had a BBQ, took family pictures, went shopping, out to eat and had fun challenging each other on Wii (my first time playing btw). Being in North Carolina is bitter sweet. It's so nice to be home and see family but I moved to Utah to move on. A lot of milestone moments in my life happened there that were good times gone bad and it's hard to forget when you are literally driving down memory lane. After NC, I flew to California. About 11 of my friends from the singles ward planned a trip to Disneyland. I have never been to Cali and fought my way to go. I worked overtime to make up the hours I would miss and saved the money needed. I met up with them Thursday and spent the days in Disneyland and California Adventure. It was amazing!!!! We found a ward in Huntington Beach to go to on Sunday and then chilled the rest of the day on the warm sand on the beach. It was such a great bonding experience for us and a much needed trip for myself. How lucky I am to have a great family to spend time with and great friends to get to know better. Life is good :) I made this video of my trip. If you are going to watch it, watch it to the very end. I was actually pretty proud of myself. I wish I could've put more up and make it longer but I didn't have enough time. Hopefully I will and will put it up later. Isn't life great? :)
