I couldn't think of one....
So say it with me.. Ashlie did WHAT?!? Yes. I went on a run. Outdoors. I for sure felt the effects the next day though. It was so nice outside. It has been for the past week or so and after the snow blizzard that came from nowhere last Wed, it was a much needed change. The weather is definitely weird in Utah. I hate when cold weather lasts longer than it should. Why I'm here in Utah I still have no idea!
I have been in such a funk lately. Has anyone ever had those or is it just me? My energy level is off, my eating is whacked out and I'm constantly tired. I don't know what it is but it's driving me crazy!
On another random note. I'm addicted to Facebook. It's horrible. I shouldn't be and I hate admitting it. A friend said he is on a facebook strike for a week. I would start but I know I wouldn't last. It's the only way I keep in contact with anyone. No one sends emails anymore.
Oh let me just point out to those who read this and have told me my blog is random. YES it is. It's MY blog. I write about things that are on my mind. I love to write and if I want to write about what I ate for dinner that day, I will. If you don't like it, stop reading it.. Geez.
I was sitting in Carls Jr. parking lot about to turn onto the main road. There was a van in front of me waiting to turn as well. All of the sudden his break lights come on and before I had the chance to back up, he backs into me. I immediately got out and out walks (from the drivers side) a kid who looked about 15 or 16. His dad, on the passenger side, got out and we looked at my car. There was no damage at all and I said it was fine. The kid, however, looked like he was about to get sick. He was terrified. His dad grabbed the kids and told him he would take over. I remember those days.. :) And can I just ask whats up with people running into me lately? The second time in eight weeks, are you serious?
I love dancing. I love it all. Swing, Country, being tossed and flipped. It is just so much fun. I was a JV and Varsity cheerleader at my high school in Germany and the dancing part was always my favorite. I love the show Dancing with the Stars. It makes me want to go out and take dancing lessons. Well a couple of weeks ago the music guest star was Rascal Flatts singing their newest song and Julianne Hough (my favorite dancer) and her partner danced to it. It was amazing and I wanted to share it. Please watch it. It's awesome!!! I have fallen in love with the song as well. I love Rascal Flatts.
Also my brother's fiancee made a video of them while he was home from Iraq on R&R. I thought it was adorable and wanted to share it as well. I love them both!!
Oh and if you're still reading, I applaud you

If I read it twice, do I get twice the applause? Haha
And I am a big fan of random. Not mindless "forced" random (let's wear loud polka dots so everyone can see how random we are!) but rather natural random (Ooooh, water, pull over and swim!). Your thoughts, at least the ones you express on here, they're spontaneous but they have a flow to them that is quite natural. Contrived and clever isn’t always refreshing. Keep it up!
What are your thoughts on pigeons? :)
Shooting is always more fun with a girl along, especially one with some pent up anger :) Let’s go! I’ll probably be back in the states in the next few months on R&R, I haven’t decided just when yet. Are you free around August-September?
i love your blogs Ashlie! does that person even know what random is?? because your blogs aren't random at all.
I'm not in the military, I just work for them over here. And I'll probably come home for good in the next year or two.
I work with all the military planes that fly around over here, pretty boring haha. And I'm still trying to figure out exactly how I got here. One day I was working in Denver and it felt like the next, I was stepping off a C-130 in Afghanistan. The past few years have just been a total blur. How about you, what's your excus...why do you live in Utah? :)
Your move to Utah sounds a lot like my moving to the U.S. from Germany. My family left and I bummed around Europe for awhile and had a lot of good times but one day just got on the plane and moved on. It’s funny, quite few of the bums I went to school with still work at the golf course or O-club on Ramstein. I see them on R&R when I go back. Progress is easier to gauge with a convenient benchmark lol.
As for here, well I can leave at anytime; I just want to get my house paid off and set aside enough money to pay for school. This job is a means to an end I guess. I do enjoy being here though; it’s been quite the amazing experience.
C'mon now, let's hear your thoughts on desert island companions/significant others! I shared my fear of Madonna! *shudder* I could write a book about my fear of that woman.
