So, lots of things have happened in the almost 2 weeks it has taken me to finally update this thing. First off, I started my new job which I love. I work for Trouble Teens of America which is a sponsoring company for Teen Miracle. I call parents who have contacted us and help them find help for their Troubled Teens and also help them qualify for grants to help them out financially. It's awesome. Listening to the parents and their stories really helps me to understand why going into the field of Psychology has been my passion for so long. It's a way to understand not only teens but problems in life in general. It's fulfilling and I'm so glad I'm able to get closer and closer to doing the kind of work I've been so interested in for such a long time. There are times on the phone where no matter how much chaos or talking is going on around me, I find myself so caught up and focused on listening to what the parent on the phone is saying and emotionally it can be hard at times. I love this work.
Me and Ashley took a little road trip to Salt Lake to visit our friend Jessie who I lived with for a little over a month. We love visiting her and we love being able to visit Abby as well. It's so fun to just talk and laugh and be with your friends who matter what happens will be there for you. I'm so lucky to have such great friends and I wouldn't trade them for the world and I hope they wouldn't either no matter how many stupid things I do. Sometimes, it's just nice to sit in her living room and play with Abby. Watching her dance to music and do some of the crazy things she does is so funny and so entertaining. I don't know how many times we would go up to Salt Lake if it weren't for her. JK Jessie, we LOVE YOU too!!!!
Speaking of Ashley.......She's a Brunette!!!! I absolutely love it. It's the first time she has not just done something crazy but done anything AT ALL to her hair...........EVER! She's still getting used it but it's a big change so I can see why. I think it looks very nice and I hope she knows she's beautiful no matter what! There are always changes in Chatham Town #36, feel priveledged to know us.
