It's Been A Long Time

I really can't believe how long it's been since I've blogged. I was doing so great for a while. There's been tons going on but I honestly have no idea where to start. I have had the priveledge of getting to see my family twice since my last blog. I went home for Christmas in Indiana and was able to see my extended family members. My dad was unable to come home for Christmas this year. I hated that I couldn't see him. It just doesn't feel the same. After I got to Indiana my aunt Summer and I flew to New York to meet up with my mom (she drove) to attend the taping of The View. I love that show and my mom received free tickets in the mail. We had to stand in the freezing cold weather for nearly 3 hours before sitting in the lobby for another 1 1/2. It was so worth it though. The rest of the day we went site seeing and took a couple of tours. It was so nice to visit New York again. We drove to Indiana the next day to spend Christmas. I hated coming home but that's what I get for moving to Utah! Last week I was able to go to North Carolina for 5 days. I, originally, was going to suprise my dad and show up after he came home but after I bought the ticket, I was informed he had extended and would be leaving back to Iraq 3 days before I would get there. Such a bummer. I was really really disappointed. In July, It'll be a year since I've seen him. I can't even believe how much time just flies on by. I miss him a lot. My brother left to do humanitarian work in Haiti. Not exactly sure when he'll be back but I hope it's soon. It always scares me when they are so far away. Maybe I'll go into a little more detail about everything but I at least wanted to catch up. Some people have commented on how I need to update this thing. I have gotten really bad recently.
