Voices of Our Leaders

There is something about the voice of Thomas S. Monson and the apostles that immediately gets my attention and makes everything besides his words fade away. During Relief Society today I started to daydream off into my own little world. I will admit I should have been paying more attention but there was too much going on to focus on one thing. As soon as I heard their voices I all the sudden snapped back to reality to listen to what they were saying. The topic is about lifting each others burdens. The topic in Relief Society was on visiting teaching and how it applies. I am a quote freak. I love quotes and anything that touches my heart at one time or another. I can't even count how many quotes I have written down, typed up or copy and pasted from the Prophet and apostles. During my senior year of high school, we were all asked to write down a quote to be put in our senior book for our class. The quote I chose was "I never said it would be easy. I only said it would be worth it." I have the quote in a frame next to a picture of Christ hanging on my wall to remind myself that even if that day was hard the next day is a new one. It is all worth it. Heavenly Father is there to lift my burdens. That gives me the strength to help lift burdens of others. Please take a min to watch the video. It is so worth it.

Lifting Burdens

I love this video too, I watched it like 5 times in a row one morning as I was getting ready for work. It's very inspiring!
