Let me catch ya'll up. Life is good. When is it not? A few things are going on that I thought maybe I should share if I want to keep up on this whole blogging thing.
1) I have a new calling. I am co-chair of Ward Prayer with my good friend Jarom.
I'm so excited. My first one was I was in charge of was last Sunday. I conducted, gave the thought and brought treats. I really enjoy this and I am super excited.
2) I have made more friends in the past month and a half. My ward is so awesome. I have been so wrapped in things that went on at the end/beginning of the year that it's been recently that I've gotten to actally know the people in my ward. It amazes me why I never did earlier. They have helped me more than they will ever know.
3) I started my summer classes at UVU. For the first block I am taking psych and the second block I am taking English. I was very nervous on Wed night (I take night classes) but it ended up being really good and I'm excited for the semester.
4) Denny's has become a tradition. At 3 AM. Biscuits and Gravy. Enough said.

5) My mom is coming to visit at the end of the month and I couldn't be more excited. Since I have been in Utah my parents haven't been able to come and see me here due to situations with deployment and all. So, needless to say I am jumping out of my skin right now.
That's basically it. Haha.. you probably thought there was more to catch up on. Now, my life isn't THAT exciting.
I am giving a talk tomorrow in Sacrament meeting. I'm deathly nervous. Sometimes I am fine but this time around I'm starting to freak out. The topic is on adversity and if anyone needs to give this talk, it's me. This topics is hard. Not because it's not a good topic but because there are so many great talks and conferences given on this subject that it's hard to choose what to say. But, I know it'll turn out great. I love researching for talks. I learn so much.
Alright that's it. Nothing else.
P.S I'm SO ready for summer. Bring on the swimsuits and jet skis!!!

Girls always get the easy topics for talks! Well I hope you didn't get all nervous and choke out some horrible blasphemous Freudian slip from the pulpit or anything...haha j/k. I'm sure you did great.

Well it sounds like you did pretty good on your talk, you must be quite the speaker!

I think my brother and I are actually seeing who can stay single the longest. He would never admit to it but we're idiots like that.

I guess I'm old fashioned in that I don't do facebook. I am old fashioned! I wrote a letter the other day! My hand cramped up but I did it.
Hey girl! Sorry it's been a while. I'm trying to play catch up. So how have you been? Work has been crazy, mostly because I've been by myself A LOT. But, I'm looking forward to the long weekend.
