It's About Time

I have no idea why it takes me so long to update my blog. Busy? Yeah right... I must just be lazy. So almost three weeks ago, I flew from North Carolina to Utah. It took four stops and switching planes twice. Ah... the joys of flying. I moved into my townehouse with a good friend of mine and have been hanging out with my cousins and come cool new people I've met. It's been really warm during the day which for me is unusual because last year at this time Utah was quite chilly. I fly out on Sunday for North Carolina to meet up with my parents before driving down to Texas to spend some days with my dad's side of the family. I'm so excited to see them since it's been 2-4 years since I've been there or seen most of them. Most of all, I'm excited to see my dad. He's been in Iraq for 3 months and has seven more months to go. From Texas, we are driving the rest of my stuff and my car back to Utah. It's going to be so nice to finally have transportation. My cousin, Amanda, has been great with getting me places I need to go and I'm so thankful for that. But it doesn't beat having your own car. Other than that, nothing new is going on. The weekend before I flew out my mom and I spent the weekend at the beach. Oh I miss that place. It's so relaxing and peaceful. I did not take advantage of it when I should have. Tomorrow my cousins and I are going to Salt Lake to wait stand by for General Conference. I'm so excited. The only time I've been up there for anything like that was Relief Society Conference which by the way was amazing. I really hope we get in. who would have thought I would be driving yet again across the country??
